What you can try, what you pay for, and where human judgment still matters.

Getting started

What do I get for free?

A one-time allowance of 2,000 words, valid for 30 days. It does not refill monthly. You can draft the opening ~1,000 source words of each manuscript, compare the result with the original, and use glossary and comment tools within that allowance.

The preview ends at a paragraph boundary, so its exact length varies. Paid access is needed for drafting beyond the preview, AI verification, revision tools and export.

Do I need a card to try it?

No. Create an account and start with the trial. Choosing a paid plan is a separate step.

Which languages can I use?

You enter the source and target languages when creating a translation. Quality varies by language pair, writing style and the AI model used. The Arabic-to-English excerpt on the homepage is an illustrative example, not a promise of equal quality across languages.

Try a short passage first and ask someone fluent in both languages to assess it before committing to a full manuscript.

Translation & review

Is an AI-checked translation ready to publish?

Not automatically. AI can produce fluent text that changes a name, fact, implication or tone. Checks can flag problems but can also miss them. Review the text against the original, with a fluent human reader, before publishing.

What are the glossary and book context for?

The glossary records preferred names and terms. Book context provides background and style guidance for the translation. They help guide output, but should be accurate and reviewed when the manuscript changes.

Can I edit or reject a suggested translation?

Yes. Review the source and translation together, edit wording and add comments. AI revision suggestions are proposals for you to assess. Approve a passage only when you are satisfied with it.

Plans & words

Is the free trial a monthly allowance?

No. The 2,000 trial words are granted once and expire after 30 days. Only paid subscriptions include recurring monthly word credits. Canceling a subscription does not grant another trial.

What is the difference between a plan and a word pack?

Starter and Pro unlock the paid workflow and include monthly word credits. A word pack adds non-expiring credits; it does not unlock paid features. To buy a pack, you need an active paid plan or an already-unlocked book.

Compare the plans and packs.

Will redrafting use more words?

Yes. Drafting, redrafting and AI revisions use the source-word count of the passages processed. Processing the same passage again can use credits again. AI verification requires paid access but does not deduct extra word credits. Check the estimate before you start.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Open Usage & Billing from your account menu and choose Cancel plan. The subscription continues until the end of the paid period. Monthly credits expire with that period; unused word-pack credits do not expire. Your balance alone does not unlock paid features after the subscription ends.

I already unlocked a book. Is that a subscription?

No. An existing one-time book unlock applies to that manuscript. It is separate from a monthly subscription and from word credits. You do not need to buy access to the same book again, but translation work still needs an available word balance.

Files & export

Which files can I upload?

Word (.docx), Markdown (.md or .markdown) and plain text (.txt), up to 50 MB. You can also paste text. PDF import is not available. Check the imported chapters and paragraphs before translating.

What can I download?

Paid access includes Markdown export. If you uploaded a Word document, Word export uses that stored original. Check formatting and images in the downloaded file; export can include passages you have not finished translating.
